World Cancer Day has introduced a new theme for 2025-2027: –

                                      United by Unique

This theme emphasises placing individuals and their stories at the heart of cancer care, recognising that behind every diagnosis lies a unique human experience. The campaign advocates for a people-centered approach, integrating each persons distinct needs with compassion and empathy to achieve the best health outcomes.

The United by Unique campaign will unfold over three years, beginning with inviting individuals from all walks of life to share their personal cancer stories. By highlighting these narratives, the initiative aims to foster a deeper understanding of the diverse experiences associated with cancer and promote a holistic approach to care that sees the person beyond the patient.

This theme underscores the importance of unity in addressing cancer while honoring the individuality of each persons journey. It calls upon everyone patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and communities to come together to create a world where the needs of people are at the center of health systems.
