Tanzania Independence Day

Today marks a very very special day for incredible people in Tanzania – it’s independence Day.

I know that around 200 people associated with ZaraTanzania Adventures are climbing to the summit of Kilimanjaro to celebrate December 9th.

I know how hard they will have had to walk to get to the top of that glorious mountain. I know how much the day means to them and I know how much fun they will have had doing it.

I would love to be there today to celebrate your very very special day and here are just some images of those wonderful days in August 2023, where William, Brucie and Salim helped me achieve one of my dreams

Well, after 4 or 5 incredible days walking and scrambling they made it.

Just look at what they endured!!

After the party – the descent!! And then the real celebrations can begin. What incredible, determined and wonderful people.

I’m considering next year – they keep asking!! This time I’ll do it with them for Independence Day.

I’m still raising money towards my Kilimanjaro challenge where the proceeds will be used to fund a new mole mapping scanner for use in hospitals. If you are at all interested in helping me raise the funds required then please see the following link.

Thank you.
