As with every important message, it’s so vital that every possible medium is used to amplify the sound of one person‘s voice.

Thankfully, a couple of the media outlets that first started to talk about my challenges to raise money for new equipment for dermatology and skin cancer. I’ve come to spread the word once more.

The Blackpool Gazette first started the story back in July 2023 before the first attempt to climb Kilimanjaro. I’ve now climbed Kilimanjaro twice and also attempted to climb Mount Toubkal only this last September.

A new article has appeared in Blackpool Gazette telling the story of how I’ve arrived at this place.

BBC Radio Lancashire

As ever, the lovely Nishma Hindocha plate to the part of a perfect host and asked lots of really searching questions about skin cancer and what I was trying to achieve. This was the third time on BBC radio Lancashire and has always it was an absolute pleasure to be there.

I’ve put together a montage of pictures and a copy of the recorded interview for you to listen to if you would like.

It’s been a hell of a finish to 2025 and now that the therapy has begun it has already started to take a toll on my body.

2026 is going to be less of a physical challenge other than persuading my body to get through the toils of the immunotherapy side effects.
